Friends of Ropner Park is a group of volunteers who care about Ropner Park and the wider community.
We hold monthly meetings to discuss arranging the various events we put on each year and as a member you can attend these meetings should you want to.
Personal involvement can range from paying the membership fee of £15 each year, attending our monthly meetings, or being fully involved in the running of our Annual Fairs and volunteering on our stalls. You decide just how much you want to contribute.
If you feel you are able to spare some time to volunteer, please come along to our next meeting at Ropner Park Bowling Club. We are always looking for new ideas to help us raise funds to support all the families that visit the park on a regular basis.
Your £15 is used to pay for various bands to perform on our beautiful bandstand for two hours every Sunday during the Summer. These concerts are free for anyone to attend.
Volunteers meetings
The next Volunteers Meeting will take place at 9.30am on Thursday 14th August 2025 at Ropner Park Bowling Club. Everyone is able to attend and we look forward to welcoming present and new members. Please come along and join us for tea and coffee and see what we do and how we prepare for all of our events both in the Park and at Stockton Cricket Club. It would be great to see some new faces.
