Ropner Park Cafe

Ropner Park Cafe

The café is open from 9am every day

We offer a wide range of food, drinks, cakes, snacks and ice cream for both sit in and take away.  Please have a look at our menus on the right of this page. Specials include mince and dumplings and hot meat sandwiches and we now offer chips.

We have purchased another coffee machine which is based next to the back window, enabling us to offer take away tea and coffee as well as ice cream, ice lollies, cold drinks and snacks, however for safety reasons we are unable to offer hot food  from this window.   This means you can purchase take away food without the need to come into the cafe.  This is very popular with our dog walkers.

The idea of an outside canopy is still being discussed with Stockton Council and we hope this will come to fruition in the not too distant future.  Once we have received planning permission we will be looking to raise funds to enable the build to take place so watch this space for ways to donate.

Thank you to everyone for your overwhelming support. It is wonderful to see the park so busy and being used by the people of Stockton and the surrounding area, just as Mr and Mrs Ropner intended when they donated the land in 1890. Long may it continue.

The Friends of Ropner Park run the cafe as a non profit making concern and we aim to open every morning at 9am regardless of the weather. However, if it turns really bad and the Park becomes empty, we may close earlier than our stated time of 4 p.m.

Please be assured that we will remain open as long as we can.

We cannot thank you all enough for your continued support.

Do you like the new menu design?  We wanted something more colourful and in keeping with a Park theme.
